Welcome to Chippingin Ltd, an online service that makes it easy for users to crowdfund funds for the purchase of special gifts from friends and relatives. Chippingin, and/or their affiliates provide website features and other products and services to you when you visit or shop at chippingin.co.uk (the “website”), use Chippingin products or services, or use software provided by Chippingin in connection with any of the foregoing. Conditions of Use

Please read these conditions carefully before using Chippingin. By using Chippingin Services, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. We offer a wide range of Chippingin Services, and sometimes additional terms may apply. When you use a Chippingin Service (for example, the purchase of an item on our platform) you will also be subject to the terms, guidelines and conditions applicable to that Chippingin Service (“Service Terms”). If these Conditions of Use are inconsistent with the Service Terms, those Service Terms will control. You can access and update much of the information you have provided us with, including your account set-tings, in the Your Account area of the website. You must not use any Chippingin Service: (i) in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, any Chippingin Service, or any access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way, or (ii) for fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity, or (iii) to cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or remove or edit content if you are in breach of applicable laws, these Conditions of Use or any other applicable terms and conditions, guidelines or policies.

YOUR ACCOUNT

If you use any Chippingin Service you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer and devices, and to the extent permitted by applicable law you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be used in an unauthorised manner. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide us with are correct and complete, and for informing us of any changes to the information you have provided. You can access and update much of the information you have provided us with, including your account settings, in the Your Account area of the website. LICENCE AND ACCESS

To use the Chippingin service, you must become a member, and will be required to provide certain personal and banking information as may be required. Chippingin does not provide any financial, tax or legal advice and cannot be held responsible for any consequences from the use of the money processed, saved and stored with our service. You should use your own judgement and obtain independent advice before purchasing or subscribing to financial products and services. Subject to your compliance with these Conditions of Use and applicable Service Terms and your payment of any applicable fees, Chippingin or its content providers grant you a limited, nonexclusive, non-transferable, no sub-licensable licence to access and make personal and non-commercial use of the Chippingin Services. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of any Chippingin Service or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of any Chippingin Service or its contents; any down- loading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content included in or made available through any Chippingin Service, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads and data compilations is the property of Chippingin or its content suppliers. The compilation of all content included in or made available through any Chippingin Service is the exclusive property of Chippingin. Chippingin respects the intellectual property of others. If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been used in a way that gives rise to concerns of infringement, please contact us on support@chippingin.co.uk

INACTIVE ACCOUNTS

A Chippingin account that has a positive balance and has been inactive for 12 consecutive months (ie. no payment transactions, withdrawals or cancellations) will automatically have the balance converted into a Chippingin shop credit that can be used directly on the Chippingin store. This will be sent to the user by email to their registered email address.

DISCLAIMER

Your use of Chippingin is at your sole risk. It is provided on an “as is” basis. The service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Chippingin do not warrant that it will function uninterrupted or be available at any particular time or location, that any errors, omissions or defects will be corrected, or that the product is free of viruses or other harmful components. Chippingin will not be responsible for (i) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part, or (ii) any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure), or (iii) any indirect or consequential losses that were not foreseeable to both you and us when you commenced using the Chippingin Services. We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause, which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your legal right to have goods sent or services provided within a reasonable time or to receive a refund if goods or services ordered cannot be supplied within a reasonable time owing to a cause beyond our reasonable control. The laws of some countries do not allow some or all of the limitations described above. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above limitations may not apply to you and you might have additional rights. Nothing in these conditions limits or excludes our responsibility for fraudulent representations made by us or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct..

RIGHTS

We reserve the right to make changes to any Chippingin Services, policies, terms and conditions including these Conditions of Use, and Service Terms at any time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions, policies and Conditions of Use in force at the time that you use the Chippingin Services. If any of these Conditions of Use is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition. All rights are reserved. The conditions above do not affect your statutory rights according to English law. Any contracts entered into will be governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

All rights including copyright in this website or mobile application are either owned by or licensed to White Tee Ltd. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, noncommercial use is prohibited without the permission of White Tee Ltd. You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose.
